After spending the better half of a year learning about self hosting, I’m proud to say that my website and cloud storage is now self hosted! Self hosting ensures all photos and files are fully owned by me, and will stay owned by me without interference of a third party, or monthly/yearly payments. I won’t get too much into the technical details, but I will say it was an experience getting it all working properly.
Working previously as a marketing and event specialist at a winery and brewery, I am now pursuing other careers within the marketing and events fields, with the addition of photography on the side. You can view some of the images taken during my time as a marketing/events specialist on my product gallery page. This was my first experience with product photography, and I dove straight in. I knew coming in that lighting would be key, but I didn’t know just how much it would affect the images I took!
